Polluted storm-water runoff is commonly transported through Municipal sewer systems resulting in overloaded treatment facilities and unwanted discharge into local water bodies. This is a very serious problem that requires proactive action by municipal governments as well as their respective property owners. Rain spouts are one of the biggest culprits contributing to this problem. Homeowners and businesses are not permitted to deposit storm-water into sewer lines and encouraged to remove such connections from the sewer lines.

Oils, paints and combustible materials are not permitted in sewers. You are urged to report violators to the Township Manager at (412) 771-6680.
